I hope that you and your family had a great Memorial Day weekend. It marks more than the just the beginning of summer. It is the time that we stop and pause. We honor those brave men and women who rest peacefully in Arlington National Cemetery, above the beaches of Normandy, in a quiet field in Anzio and around the world. These brave Americans, by their actions, spoke loudly in support of our nation. Just as we need to listen to what these Americans said by their actions, as I pledged – I began my term as your Chair by listening. Last week, a packed house turned out in Dover to tell Debbie and I what you thought we needed to do and what issues we should address as Republicans to make Delaware a better place for all. We heard you and appreciated the constructive and positive atmosphere. We are working on forming the committees to build our party. Now, I want to talk to you about an important issue in the legislature, this month. Five years ago, the Democrat Governor proposed eliminating the Senior Citizen School Property Tax credit of $ 500.The united Republican opposition helped to scuttle the proposal. However, the next year, the Democrat legislature eliminated 20% of the credit. In addition, seniors in New Castle County will suffer even more, because property taxes are scheduled to go up. We need to restore the Senior Property Tax credit to the full $500. The Republicans have a bill in Dover to restore this full credit. Tell your friends, family and neighbors about this! We need to support our legislators’ efforts to help relieve the government burden on senior citizens on fixed incomes. And we need to challenge every Democrat and expose their voting record in Dover on this and other issues. We need your help to finance our candidates. Please take a minute and send us a donation. I pledge that your contribution will be used to directly support our 2020 legislative candidates.

Thank You.
