National Vietnam War Veterans Day

March 29

“On National Vietnam War Veterans Day, we take a moment to commemorate those who served and fought during one of the most brutal wars in American history. The Vietnam War lasted for 20 years, and over 2.7 million Americans served during this time. The war had a significant impact on many families and individuals, and it’s important to honor and recognize those who sacrificed so much during this time.

The Vietnam War saw over three million casualties, and it’s crucial that we never forget the sacrifices made by those who fought.

National Vietnam War Veterans Day was established in 2017 to honor all the Vietnam veterans and offer them the respect and support they deserved.

This day not only honors those who fought but also recognizes the service of the Armed Forces and support organizations during the war, the wartime contributions at home, the advancements in technology, science, and medicine, and the contributions by American allies.

Let’s take a moment today to remember and thank all those who served in Vietnam, and to honor their sacrifices and bravery. We are forever grateful for their service and dedication to our country. ”
