New Updated Plans for OCT 1 in Sussex

Greetings fellow Republicans!

First, we would like to take a moment to keep all in mind who are affected by hurricane IAN. Reports of mass destruction have been coming in as a result of each landfall in its path. Also, please pray for all the first responders who are in harm’s way. We may suffer a small setback in our plans, but it is nothing compared to the devastation which has occurred.

Well, the best laid plans… It appears Mother Nature doesn’t want us door-knocking this Saturday.  We are expecting rain, rain and more rain and winds.  We will also not be meeting to go over talking points on Friday.,

What I would like to do is put a phone banking team together.  If walking a neighborhood is not something you can do, perhaps making phone calls is more your speed.

The absentee ballots for the general election will be mailed this coming week.  You may have heard that the number of people opting for permanent absentee grew exponentially since the 2020 election.  To help our candidates, we should contact these voters and make sure they are planning to return their absentee ballots and see if they are planning to vote for our excellent Republican candidates.  I have this list of voters and would love for each of you to take just 25 names.  If you do that we would get through the list in no time.  If you are hesitant because you don’t know what to say, we can help you with that.

Because it appears it’s going to rain straight through until Wednesday.  That gives us lots of time indoors to make phone calls.
