Lynn Mey Announces Candidacy for State Rep in the 25th District

Lynn Mey has entered the race for the 25th District House of Representatives seat, prioritizing on a campaign of quality education, safety, and protection of the most vulnerable and driving tight controls on spending. Lynn’s passion for education stems from her personal experience of receiving her Chemical Engineering degree through public schools. She instilled the need for a strong foundation of learning to her four children, who have all successfully received bachelor’s degrees from the University of Delaware. She is passionate about supporting her community to build the strongest education foundation for all the children in her community so that they too can achieve their dreams for the future.

Lynn and her husband, Jeff, have lived at their home in the 25th district for 20 years. She is an active member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church, serving the youth to prepare for confirmation, preparing meals for the homeless, and serving at the homeless shelter. She is a board member for Delaware Right to Life. Lynn coached CYM cross country and track for several years, growing the team from a few athletes to over 60 athletes, celebrating with them as they ultimately achieved a CYM championship trophy!

Lynn has worked in global businesses for over 34 years in leadership roles requiring extensive travel across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. She holds three supply chain certifications. Lynn plans to bring her experience leading teams in successfully delivering results to help drive efficiency in our state government, focusing on stringent use of our tax dollars.
