Senator Gerald Hocker and Representative Danny Short joined Host Jane Brady on the Republican State Committee’s Call to Action, a web-based opportunity for the public to learn about legislative issues and action that is taking place in the General Assembly.  The Senator and Representative, who lead their respective caucuses in the General Assembly, discussed the Republican Party’s priorities for the upcoming Legislative Session, which begins tomorrow.   Those priorities include Education, including a Parents Bill of Rights to make sure parents can know what is going on in their child’s school, and school choice; the Economy, including supports for small businesses and removing previous tax increases for seniors and on the sale of real estate; and Public Safety issues including enforcement of gun laws against criminals who use them in the commission of their crimes and support for the law enforcement agencies in Delaware
