December 27, 2021
I hope each of you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. We at the Sussex County Republican Committee are looking forward to a very busy and successful 2022.
I am very happy to let you know that your Executive Board heard your requests for training and to that end, we have added training to the agenda for our January 10th Region Meeting.
We are very privileged to have General Philip Drew offer his expertise and experience to provide training our Region. General Drew’s extensive and impressive Military career includes being a command pilot with more than 3,500 flying hours and more than 350 combat missions.
General Drew is also an icon in Sussex County politics. He has served as the previous Chair of the 38th District Republican Club PAC; past Coordinator of 38-4; and the Campaign Manager for the Chris Weeks campaign in the 14th RD when Chris ran against Speaker Peter Schwartzkopf. He has been the Sussex County Republican Committee (SCRC) Training Officer and has held positions in U.S. Presidential Races (Bush, Trump), U.S. Senate races, U.S. House of Representative races; and Delaware/Virginia Statewide campaigns (Rob Arlett). Finally, General Drew has worked with winning local campaigns to include Senator Gerald Hocker and Representatives Ron Gray, Rich Collins and others.
I encourage you to attend this very important meeting on January 10th at Old Paths Church of Christ. If you are an EDC or volunteer or just want to learn more about the structure and function of the Sussex County Republican Committee, this meeting is not to be missed. We will gavel at 6:30 PM at 18295 Redden Road.
Feel free to bring friends, family and neighbors.
