The unelected bureaucrats at Delaware’s Department of Nature Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) have plans to MANDATE Delawareans to start purchasing electric vehicles in September 2025. We need to tell Governor John Carney and DNREC Secretary Shawn Garvin how we feel about this.
Most people support innovation and electric vehicles, but also think that families and businesses should decide if and when they buy an electric car or truck.
NO MORE MANDATES
Tell them that we should let the free market decide how quickly Delaware transitions to electric vehicles. And Tell them we oppose more MANDATES from State Government!
Your message will be sent from you to Governor John Carney (John.Carney@delaware.gov ) and DNREC Secretary Shawn Garvin (Shawn.Garvin@delaware.gov). Your message will be presented with others at the DNRC hearing on ZEV planned for this Spring and forwarded to legislators in the General Assembly. In addition, you will get updates on our efforts to prevent this mandate.
